Raising Seeing Eye dogs leads Maryann LaPenna to another pet project: gardening (Pocono Record)
When Maryann LaPenna started raising Seeing Eye dogs 17 years ago, she never thought it would lead to a new passion: gardening. When Champ used a portion of her yard for "a urinal," she knew she needed to do something with the now empty space.
