So, Chinese auto company will start selling its cars in U.S. in a couple of years, and they are now showing their cars in Detroit auto show. What do you think? Are they taking a big share in the coming years like Japanese did or it won't be so easy?

I did not hear about this. Do you know where to find them on the Internet? Maybe you could post a picture here.

Visionary Vehicles ( http://www.visionaryvehicles.com/ ) is the company that is working to establish the Chinese automaker's presence in US. The Chinese automaker's name is Chery, but it's too similar to Chevy. GM is not too happy about the name, and this is why the US company is named "Visionary Vehicles" for the name being.

That is hilarious that the name is somewhat a rip off of Chevy! Must be because of the translation. Or maybe the Board of Directors watched "Coming To America" one too many times... ;)

The guy who runs Visionary Vehicles brought Subaru to US many years ago. This was when Japanese were coming into US market, and no American was interested in Japanese cars, but the situation changed very quickly and the rest is history. Visionary Vehicles chief thinks that Chery or whatever it's called in the future will do better.
One thing I'm interested is if this can dramatically lower the price of automobile.
