Anacyclus depressus

Mt. Atlas Daisy

These Morocco natives form a low mat of dense fernlike foliage. Their paired or solitary, white, daisylike flowers are blushed with pinkish red on the undersides. Gray hairy leaves are finely cut. Great annuals, biennials or perennials for sunny rock gardens with perfect drainage and neutral to alkaline soils. Will not tolerate soggy soil or wet winters.

Useful in hot, sunny rock gardens or as an edging in flower beds, this slow-spreading plant is hardy except in severe winters. Once established, it tolerates drought but may rot in wet soil.
