Anemonopsis macrophylla

False Anemone

A woodland plant with fern-like leaves and graceful, wiry stems supporting nodding flowers that is good as a border in flower beds. Similar to Japanese Anemones, but smaller. Plant in a sheltered spot away from hot, dry winds. Propogate by seed or by dividing roots in late fall or early spring.
