Asteriscus sericeus

Tender shrubby daisies from the Mediterranean and Canary Islands grown for their long bloom and silky, silvery foliage. Plant in beds, borders and rock gardens in dry, warm climates or, in colder areas, in pots that can be wintered in greenhouses. Asteriscus maritimus, which inhabits rocky places near the Mediterranean Sea, is an evergreen groundcover.
