Baptisia australis

Blue Indigo

Easy to grow, these North American natives have striking, pea-shaped white, blue or yellow flowers. Freshly cut blossoms and dried seed pods make excellent flower arrangements. Best in rich soils, but tolerates poor soils. Easy to start by seed or division. Cut back old flowers to encourage further blooming.
