These long-lasting, persistent perennials are easy to grow. Its clusters of white, pink, lavender or blue daisy-like flowers sit atop long, leafy stems, and resemble Michaelmas daisies or asters. Best grown in masses. Stand without support, even if they reach up to 6 feet tall, but stake in windy areas. Divide and replace every two or three years to prevent a leggy, unkempt look. More compact growing, does not need staking. Plants are smothered with white flowers with bright yellow centers in late summer or early fall.
