Boltonia asteroides 'Snowbank'

These long-lasting, persistent perennials are easy to grow. Its clusters of white, pink, lavender or blue daisy-like flowers sit atop long, leafy stems, and resemble Michaelmas daisies or asters. Best grown in masses. Stand without support, even if they reach up to 6 feet tall, but stake in windy areas. Divide and replace every two or three years to prevent a leggy, unkempt look. Propogate by division in spring or fall.
Boltonia asteroides
More compact growing, does not need staking. Plants are smothered with white flowers with bright yellow centers in late summer or early fall.
