Swan River Daisy

Use these easy-to-grow, annual or perennial herbs in borders, containers and rock gardens. Masses of daisy-like flowers bloom in spring and summer on neat mounds of foliage. Flowers are yellow, pink, white, blue, or lilac. Natives of Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea and Tasmania, they require sun and shelter and rich, well-drained soil. Pinch new tips to encourage bushiness. Start new plants by seed or cuttings.

This annual has feathery foliage and fragrant, short-blooming flowers of blue, rose, white, or violet, with centers of green, yellow, or deep brown. Long-lasting cut flowers. Sow seeds in the ground or in window boxes and hanging baskets where stems trail over the edges. Prefers sandy soil and cool weather.
