| These hardy, rapid-growing trees adapt to a wide range of situations, temperature extremes, various soils and varying amounts of moisture. In early summer, this fast-growing, coarsely textured tree blooms in white flowers with yellow stripes. Resists oak root fungus. 'Aurea' has soft yellow leaves. Dwarf variety, 'Nana', never blooms.
