Cercidium floridum

Blue Palo Verde

These desert trees are tough and grow even when neglected. However, they grow faster, larger and more dense with water and fertilizer. Clusters of bright yellow flowers cover the branches in spring. Tiny twigs covered by tiny leaves create light shade. Trees attract birds. Train as a single- or multiple-trunked tree.
Cercidium floridum, Blue Palo Verde
