Chamaemelum nobile

Roman Chamomile

Only one type of this moss-like ground cover, Chamaemelum nobile, is grown. It is perfect for around stepping stones or to create a scented plant carpet you can walk on. Plant small patches only, for bare spots quickly fill in. Unmowed, reaches 4 to 12 inches tall. Trim or mow at 3 to 4 inches high, and shear off flowers to maintain ground cover. Prefers dry soil.
