Mediterranean Fan Palm

These small slow-growers are excellent container plants. Remove suckers to create single trunk that rises to 20 feet, or let grow in clumps. Tolerate wind, salt spray and drought. Give periodic deep water to speed growth and improve appearance.

The only Palm native to the Mediterranean, it is also one of the hardiest of all Palms. Group as a foreground planting or as a hedge. Mulch during rainy season.
