Sea Oats, Bamboo Grass, Uniola latifolia

An ornamental, clumping grass with flat leaves and arching, flowering stems, it adds an elegant touch to flowerbeds, meadows, or woodland areas. Straw-colored stems and graceful seed heads look good in dried arrangements. Cut almost to the ground in winter when leaves turn brown. Divide overgrown clumps in spring or early fall.

Abundant, drooping flower spikelets in basket-weave patterns seem to dance with the slightest breeze.
