Chrysogonum virginianum

Goldenstar

These perennial wildflowers are native to the rich, woodland soils of the Eastern United States. They can be damaged by snowy winters, though. If planted in a shady spot, these bright yellow, 5-petaled flowers bloom all summer on this ground cover. Perfect for wild gardens. Needs moist, well-drained soil. Start by seed or division in spring.
