
The smooth, reddish bark sheds in scales from this virtually pest-free tree. Its branchlets, covered in aromatic, bluish foliage, grow in pyramidal or conical form when young, and spread with age. Cones are spherical and brown. Another cultivar, 'Glauca', has deeper blue foliage.
