Franklinia alatamaha

Franklin Tree

These rare, wide-spreading, multi-trunked trees or large shrubs bloom once most ornamentals are finished. The fragrant, white, roselike flowers have bright yellow centers and complement the bright orange or red fall leaf color. Plant in lawns, with Rhododendrons and Azaleas, or near patios. Easy to start from seed. Best flowering and fall color in full sun.
