Glaucium flavum

Yellow Horned Poppy

The blooms of the Horned Poppy are big and showy, but usually only a few are open at once and these last just a day or so. Group in informal parts of the garden, in borders of mixed flowers, or mix with other gray-leafed plants or succulents. Seed capsules may reach 1 foot. Best grown as a biennial.
