Grevillea 'Robyn Gordon'

Robyn Gordon Grevillea

Fine-textured foliage, long thin flower clusters and drought tolerance make these evergreen shrubs and trees popular. The flowers attract hummingbirds. Naturalized in southern Florida, the Silk-Oak is fast-growing. Hybrids and species abound, though some cannot tolerate salty soils or poor water quality. Choose types that fit your garden conditions. They do not do well near lawns. Well-drained, even rocky, soil is a must. Do not use high-phosphate fertilizers. Prone to leaf-eating insects, scale and mites. Diseases are few.
Grevillea, Robyn Gordon Grevillea
