Halimium lasianthum

Similar to Sun Roses, this low-growing shrubby evergreen has short, straight flowers instead of long, curved ones. Good for rock gardens or anywhere in full sun. Shelter in cold areas. Little other care is needed except a light shearing after bloom. Established plants do not transplant well.

Spreading and bushy with oval, gray-green leaves and flowers that sometimes have a flash of red in the center.
