Silver-gray foliage feels soft like felt. Allergen-free, drought- and wind-tolerant once established. Good drainage is essential, and take care not to overwater. Use as a low hedge, lawn plant or background shrub.

These tough desert plants tolerate some alkalinity if given sufficient drainage. Silver-gray foliage and purple flowers offer pastel color in summer.
