Osteospermum fruticosum

Trailing African Daisy, Freeway Daisy, Dimorphotheca fruticosa

While one of the most popular of these South African natives is a trailing perennial, the majority of these are evergreen subshrubs used in borders and mass plantings. All are prized for their masses of long-blooming, daisylike flowers. Long-stemmed blooms close at night and on overcast days. Drought-tolerant once established. Pinch growing tips to keep plant neat and encourage bushy growth.
