Petrorhagia saxifraga 'Pleiniflora Rosea'

Tunic Flower, Coat Flower

These uncommon plants resemble small Dianthus with their little white or pink flowers and grassy foliage. Well-suited to the rock garden because of their tiny, tidy habit. There are annual and perennial types, but only one perennial species is common. Also called Tunica, they reseed well. Buy in containers from garden centers or specialty nurseries.
