Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Variegatum'

Silver Kohuhu, Variegated Tawhiwhi

These shrubs and trees are valued for their dense, evergreen foliage, often fragrant flowers, interesting fruit and adaptability to a wide range of soils and climates. They are fairly drought-resistant, but look better with watering. Most make excellent hedges, screens or windbreaks. Will not tolerate long, cold winters. Start by seeds or cuttings. Watch for aphids and scale.
