Sarcococca hookerana humilis

Himalayan Sarcococca, Dwarf Sweetbox

The glossy green leaves on this shade-loving evergreen shrub or ground cover are its chief attraction. Their small clusters of fragrant spring flowers are inconspicuous. Excellent under overhangs and low-branching trees -- even in deepest shade. Best in mild climates and rich, moist, acid, organic soils. Start by division or cuttings.
