odd plant

  Can anyone ID this plant? it grows outdoors in Michigan, this is all I know

The picture you provided may be Giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum).  The Giant hogweed is a dangerous plant that has infested Michigan as well as many other States.  You can read more about it at the Michigan Department of Agriculture web site, or by reading the Michigan Department of Agriculture Giant Hogweed brochure.

Please let us know if it turns out to be the Giant hogweed, or if it is something else.  :)
