Blooms become large, pointed seed pods that are used in dried flower arrangements. Mature pods split open, exposing seeds tufted with silky hairs. Start by seed or root cuttings. Easy to grow in full sun.

This bushy species produces lots of flowers ranging from yellow to red, and is good for hot, dry, sunny spots. Do not water heavily in summer.
