These graceful, elegant large shrubs or small trees are from Asia and the United States. They produce many clusters of small white flowers. Female plants produce small purplish-black fruit if mailes are present. Hardy in the Northwest with some protection from cold and wind. Prefers sun and moist, sandy loam.
