Euphorbia epithymoides

Cushion Spurge, Euphorbia polychroma

Varieties include the popular, upright, shrubby Poinsettia, the unusual, perennial, trailing Myrtle Euphorbia, and the annual Snow-on-the-Mountain with its showy foliage. The flowers are tiny, colored yellow to green, and are often surrounded by leaves colored like petals, called bracts, which look like flowers, in white, pink, red or green. The white sap can irritate skin and eyes, and is sometimes poisonous to humans and some animals. Requires good soil drainage and full sun. Start by division and seed.
