A spectacular group of often short-lived poppies with large, showy, cup-shaped flowers of intense colors ranging from white to yellow to pink to red to blue and purple. All need cool, moist soils and in warm summer climates are often very short lived.

One of the best of the intense blue poppies. Above rosettes of neatly toothed hairy leaves rise breathtaking, clear deep-blue Poppy flowers. Easy to grow in cooler climates but tends to die out if exposed to warm temperatures or dry soils. Divide every three years to maintain vigor.
