Scabiosa columbaria 'Blue Beauty'

Pincushion Flower

Use classic, old-fashioned, cutting Pincushion Flowers in the back of flower borders, mass plantings or in wild gardens. Both annual and perennial types flower in colors ranging from white to yellow to purple and are easy to grow. Annual pincushions are best started from seed in the fall or spring. Transplant perennials from containers available throughout the growing season. Provide support for tall varieties, and prolong bloom by cutting flowers.
