Convolvulus 'Heavenly Blue'

| The Latin name means "to entwine", and these evergreens trail or twine over dry banks, fences and walls. Their funnel-shaped flowers, which resemble Morning Glories, bloom all summer. But beware, for they can naturalize and become troublesome. Prune in late winter to encourage new growth. |
The large, trumpet-shaped flowers of this climbing plant offer bright spots of color where once was a bare wall, a naked trellis or an unsightly fence. This annual is also very effective when trained up and over old tree stumps. Grows as a perennial in Zones 8 to 11. An 'Improved' variety exists in different shades of blue.
