Dwarf Morning Glory

The Latin name means "to entwine", and these evergreens trail or twine over dry banks, fences and walls. Their funnel-shaped flowers, which resemble Morning Glories, bloom all summer. But beware, for they can naturalize and become troublesome. Prune in late winter to encourage new growth.

A bushy and somewhat trailing summer annual, the typically blue flower with a yellow throat is ½-inch across. Cultivars of mixed colors are available.
