The Latin name means "to entwine", and these evergreens trail or twine over dry banks, fences and walls. Their funnel-shaped flowers, which resemble Morning Glories, bloom all summer. But beware, for they can naturalize and become troublesome. Prune in late winter to encourage new growth.

This stunning variety shines on a sunny wall, producing an abundance of intense carmine-red flowers, each with a contrasting white throat and yellow eye.
