Convolvulus cneorum

Silverbush, Bush Morning Glory

The Latin name means "to entwine", and these evergreens trail or twine over dry banks, fences and walls. Their funnel-shaped flowers, which resemble Morning Glories, bloom all summer. But beware, for they can naturalize and become troublesome. Prune in late winter to encourage new growth.

Pink buds turn to white or pinkish flowers with yellow throats above its shiny, silky, silver-gray foliage. Healthy plants are fire retardant. Needs good soil drainage.
